About the role
XM is looking for an experienced AI Systems Engineer to support the adoption, integration and governance of enterprise artificial-intelligence technologies across the organisation.
In this role, you will administer enterprise AI platforms, develop AI-powered agents and automations, and connect AI services with internal systems and approved business data.
You will work closely with Information Technology, Information Security, Product Management and other business teams to deliver secure, scalable and reliable AI solutions.
The position combines systems engineering, platform administration, enterprise integrations, AI automation and governance. It is suited to someone who can move comfortably between technical implementation, troubleshooting, stakeholder collaboration and user enablement.
What you’ll be doing
Administer, maintain and support enterprise AI platforms.
Configure and manage Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and approved third-party AI services.
Design and develop AI agents that support internal business processes.
Build business automations using Copilot Studio, Agent Builder and Power Automate.
Connect AI agents with approved enterprise knowledge sources.
Work with product managers and business stakeholders to identify suitable AI use cases.
Gather technical and business requirements for new AI solutions.
Manage AI agents throughout their lifecycle, including design, deployment, monitoring, optimisation and retirement.
Develop and maintain Microsoft Graph, Power Platform and custom enterprise connectors.
Deploy, configure and support Model Context Protocol servers.
Build secure integrations between AI platforms and internal enterprise systems.
Configure API integrations, authentication and access-control mechanisms.
Work with technologies such as OAuth, Single Sign-On and service accounts.
Monitor the performance, availability and reliability of AI platforms and automations.
Troubleshoot issues affecting AI agents, integrations and platform services.
Collaborate with Information Security teams to implement appropriate security controls.
Help establish AI governance frameworks, approval procedures and technical standards.
Support data-protection, compliance and responsible-AI requirements.
Manage platform licences, service capacity and usage.
Analyse adoption, platform-usage and performance metrics.
Produce technical documentation for platforms, agents, integrations and configurations.
Deliver workshops, user guidance and internal training.
Participate in AI strategy, platform evaluations and technology-roadmap planning.
Research emerging enterprise AI technologies and recommend relevant improvements.
What we’re looking for
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or another relevant discipline.
At least three years of professional experience in systems engineering, platform engineering, enterprise applications, IT integration or a similar role.
Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
Experience working with Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access and SharePoint.
Practical experience with one or more enterprise AI platforms.
Experience working with Microsoft Copilot or Microsoft Copilot Studio.
Familiarity with platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Claude or Gemini.
Experience developing AI agents and business automations.
Knowledge of grounding AI agents with approved enterprise information.
Experience using Power Automate.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs and enterprise system integrations.
Experience working with Microsoft Graph and Power Platform connectors.
Understanding of OAuth, Single Sign-On and secure authentication methods.
Hands-on experience building, configuring or consuming Model Context Protocol servers.
Familiarity with Azure AI services, including Azure AI Search and Azure OpenAI Service.
Understanding of enterprise AI governance and responsible-AI principles.
Knowledge of security controls such as Data Loss Prevention and sensitivity labels.
Experience integrating enterprise platforms with Jira, ServiceNow or similar systems.
Scripting experience using PowerShell, Python or a comparable language.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Clear technical-documentation and communication skills.
The ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive approach and commitment to continuous learning.
Skills that would be an advantage
Experience supporting enterprise environments that use multiple AI models or providers.
Knowledge of enterprise AI compliance, governance and security practices.
Experience delivering AI training, adoption or employee-enablement programmes.
Experience administering AI platforms at enterprise scale.
Familiarity with AI service capacity planning, licensing and usage analytics.
Experience contributing to organisation-wide AI standards or approval processes.
Work arrangement
This is a full-time hybrid position available in either Limassol or Nicosia, Cyprus.
