About the role

XM is expanding its software-development team and is hiring several experienced Angular Developers.

As an Angular Developer, you will work alongside a team of skilled technology professionals to build and improve customer-facing Angular applications. Your main focus will be delivering reliable, maintainable and high-quality code across both existing and new products.

You will also have opportunities to share your technical knowledge with other team members, contribute to architectural decisions and continue developing your frontend-engineering expertise.

What you’ll be doing

• Build advanced frontend applications using Angular.

• Develop new features and improve existing customer-facing applications.

• Write clean, maintainable and reliable TypeScript and JavaScript code.

• Follow test-driven development practices.

• Work within continuous-integration and agile development processes.

• Review code written by other developers and provide constructive feedback.

• Monitor applications and identify opportunities to improve reliability.

• Investigate and resolve frontend performance issues.

• Write and maintain unit and automated tests.

• Contribute to frontend system design and software architecture.

• Collaborate with other developers and technology professionals.

• Share technical knowledge and support continuous improvement across the team.

What we’re looking for

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another relevant discipline.

• At least one year of professional experience using Angular 2+ and TypeScript.

• At least five years of professional JavaScript-development experience.

• Proven experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.

• Experience working with CSS and SCSS.

• Experience writing unit tests using Jasmine and Karma.

• Practical experience using Git.

• A strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

• Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures and algorithmic complexity.

• A solid understanding of the complete software-development lifecycle.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A self-motivated approach to work.

• A genuine interest in professional development and continuous learning.

• Fluency in English.

Skills that would be an advantage

• Knowledge of NestJS.

• Familiarity with AWS services.

• Understanding of continuous integration and continuous-delivery concepts.

• Working knowledge of Node.js.

• Contributions to open-source projects.

• A portfolio of relevant technical work.

• Experience publishing technical articles or maintaining a development blog.
