Business Analyst

About the Role

This Business Analyst position is part of EY's Consulting practice in the Europe Central cluster, supporting organizations across Cyprus and internationally. You will work with clients to understand complex business challenges and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to identify fundamental business challenges and design solutions

• Coordinate workshops to gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications

• Guide clients through end-to-end design and delivery of transformation initiatives

• Work within multi-disciplinary agile teams including developers, designers, and testers

• Lead stakeholder presentations and scope walk-throughs

• Analyse and re-engineer business processes to improve efficiency and quality

• Develop business cases and contribute to proposal preparations

• Identify risks and issues that may impact solution delivery and adoption

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as a Business Analyst, Technology Consultant, or Product Manager

• Proven ability to understand business requirements and translate to technical requirements

• Strong analytical skills with experience documenting complex processes, user stories, and functional specifications

• Excellent communication for both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking, insurance, government, or telco sectors

• Certifications such as CCBA, PMP-PBA, or CPRE

• Agile methodology experience

• SQL and data profiling tool knowledge

• ETL tools and data migration expertise within financial services or insurance

• Ability to work with data models and database schemas

• Willingness to travel for client engagements
