About the Role
Join EY's Technology Transformation Consulting practice as a Junior React Front-end Developer. You will develop user-facing features using React.js under the guidance of senior developers, translating UI/UX wireframes into clean, maintainable code. This role is part of EY's CESA cluster, delivering transformation services to organizations across Cyprus and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Develop user-facing features using React.js with mentorship from senior team members
Translate UI/UX wireframes into clean code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Integrate RESTful APIs and handle JSON/XML data formats
Participate in debugging, testing, and performance optimization activities
Follow established workflows including Git, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies
Write reusable components and contribute to UI improvements
Maintain documentation for components, features, and updates
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on transformation projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
1–3 years of experience with React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs and web data formats
Basic understanding of Git and version control workflows
Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Must be based in Cyprus for hybrid work model (3 days per week onsite)
Desirable Skills
Familiarity with UI libraries such as Material UI
Basic testing experience with Jest or React Testing Library
Awareness of accessibility and performance best practices
Ability to use AI tools like GitHub Copilot with critical oversight
