Linux Administrator (Ops)

Role Overview

Quadcode is seeking a Linux Administrator for their Operations team to manage and support infrastructure serving a large-scale fintech trading platform. This hybrid role bridges infrastructure management and software development, requiring hands-on administration of extensive production environments supporting millions of users.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Linux servers (Ubuntu) across development and production environments spanning 2,000+ virtual machines and 300+ physical servers

• Manage PostgreSQL databases and Greenplum clusters, focusing on performance optimization and reliability

• Support KeyDB, ClickHouse and Kafka infrastructure components

• Configure and maintain services including Nginx, Jenkins, GitLab CI, DataHub, Allure and Airflow

• Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Python, Bash and other scripting languages

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes with Helm

• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents and improve system performance

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Jenkins

• Collaborate with development teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues

• Contribute to security practices and PCI DSS compliance

Requirements

• 3+ years hands-on Linux server administration in production environments

• Strong Linux internals, networking and troubleshooting knowledge

• PostgreSQL or Greenplum administration experience

• Docker and Kubernetes containerization experience

• Ansible automation expertise

• Python and/or Bash scripting proficiency

• CI/CD experience with GitLab CI and/or Jenkins

• Monitoring and logging experience with Prometheus and Grafana

• Fluent Russian (C2 level) and English B1+ for technical communication
