Senior Frontend Developer

Mayflower is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to work on high-traffic entertainment products.

Depending on your experience and interests, you may join a product-focused team developing new features and improving user experience, or a technical team focused on architecture, performance, scalability and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve website and application features.

• Refactor existing code and resolve performance issues.

• Contribute to scalable frontend architecture and codebase modularisation.

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.

• Identify bugs, security vulnerabilities and deployment issues.

• Support API migrations and maintain shared libraries.

• Research and evaluate relevant frontend technologies.

Key Requirements

• 6+ years of frontend development experience.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, React and TypeScript.

• Experience with HTML5, CSS, Sass and responsive interfaces.

• Understanding of SSR, single-page and isomorphic applications.

• Familiarity with AJAX, WebSockets and CORS.

• Experience with Redux, Node.js and micro-frontends.

• Knowledge of unit testing, debugging and performance optimisation.

• Experience with tools such as Webpack, Rollup, esbuild and Babel.

• Technical English for documentation and day-to-day tasks.
