About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Front-End Web Developer to join our product team and help create fast, accessible, and user-friendly digital experiences.

You will be responsible for translating designs and product requirements into responsive, high-quality interfaces. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers to build new features, improve existing functionality, and ensure a consistent experience across different devices and browsers.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with close attention to visual detail. You should be comfortable working within an established design system, solving interface challenges, and contributing ideas that improve both the product and the development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and reusable user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.

• Translate Figma designs, prototypes, and specifications into accurate, production-ready code.

• Build and maintain reusable components that support a consistent design system.

• Integrate front-end interfaces with APIs and back-end services.

• Ensure websites and applications perform reliably across browsers, screen sizes, and devices.

• Improve page speed, loading performance, accessibility, and search-engine visibility.

• Collaborate with designers to refine interactions, animations, responsive behaviour, and visual details.

• Work with product managers and developers to plan, estimate, and deliver new features.

• Identify and resolve front-end bugs, usability issues, and technical inconsistencies.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Review code and contribute to development standards and best practices.

• Participate in planning sessions, design reviews, testing, and product discussions.

• Stay informed about relevant front-end technologies, frameworks, and development practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• Professional experience developing modern websites or web applications.

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Experience working with a modern JavaScript framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.

• Good understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development.

• Experience translating UI/UX designs into accurate front-end interfaces.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, asynchronous requests, and data handling.

• Experience using Git and working with version-control workflows.

• Strong understanding of browser compatibility and front-end debugging.

• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and semantic HTML.

• Understanding of performance optimisation techniques.

• Ability to write organised, reusable, and maintainable code.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript.

• Experience with React and frameworks such as Next.js.

• Familiarity with component libraries and design systems.

• Experience with CSS preprocessors, CSS Modules, Tailwind CSS, or styled components.

• Understanding of server-side rendering and static-site generation.

• Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright.

• Experience working with content management systems or headless CMS platforms.

• Familiarity with deployment platforms and continuous integration workflows.

• Basic knowledge of technical SEO.

• Experience working in a SaaS, technology, ecommerce, or product-led environment.

• A portfolio or GitHub profile demonstrating relevant front-end work.
