Senior Data Scientist

About the Role

Wrike seeks a Senior Data Scientist to build AI-powered capabilities for its collaborative work management platform. You will work within the Work Intelligence Unit, focusing on leveraging Large Language Models and emerging AI technologies to create intelligent features and foundational systems that enhance user productivity and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new AI solutions using state-of-the-art machine learning and LLM technologies

• Own the complete lifecycle of data-driven features: from analyzing requirements through development, production deployment, and optimization based on monitoring data

• Build complex, multi-step LLM-based and ML systems designed for production usage

• Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver intelligent experiences

• Apply software engineering best practices including code reviews and reproducible research techniques

• Work within agile teams and present progress during sprint reviews

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in AI, Data Science, and Machine Learning

• Deep expertise in Large Language Models, LLM-based APIs, prompting techniques, and agentic systems

• Proven experience building complex production-grade LLM and ML systems

• Strong Python proficiency including software development beyond Jupyter notebooks

• Experience implementing reproducible research methodologies and developing AI for production

• Full professional proficiency in English

Desirable Qualifications

• Background in recommendation systems, ranking, entity matching, process mining, or personalization

• Strong statistical and classical ML capabilities

• Experience creating foundational AI systems used across multiple product areas

• Software architecture and classical development experience
