Senior Auditor
EY seeks an experienced Senior Auditor to contribute technical expertise to audit client engagements and internal projects in Nicosia. This role combines hands-on audit work with leadership responsibilities, requiring you to supervise junior team members, establish and maintain client relationships, and help shape audit strategies under the guidance of assurance and senior managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead fieldwork activities, manage team performance, and keep engagement leaders informed on progress
Execute complex assurance procedures and document higher-risk areas to deepen technical and business knowledge
Provide authoritative advice and professional guidance throughout audit engagements
Develop junior colleagues by sharing market trends and process knowledge
Present audit findings to clients and address their unique business ambitions and needs
Supervise engagement team members and contribute to audit strategy development
Requirements:
3–6 years of audit experience in an accountancy firm
ACA, ACCA, or CA certification
Fluent Greek and English (verbal and written)
Strong communication, negotiation, and collaborative skills
Project management experience
Working knowledge of IFRS
Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
