About the role
Software Project Manager
EY Consulting is seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to join its Consulting practice in Nicosia. This role is central to delivering transformation services to organizations across industries in Cyprus and internationally, as part of the Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia cluster.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage information technology projects from conception through delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely completion
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in close collaboration with stakeholders and third-party vendors
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies
Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and business units to ensure smooth project execution
Manage stakeholder communication, progress reporting, and proactive issue resolution
Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations
Ensure compliance with industry best practices and organizational standards
Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess success and identify improvement opportunities
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
3–7 years of experience managing IT projects and technology initiatives
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches
Experience with enterprise technology deployments, system integrations, and IT infrastructure initiatives
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in English; Greek language skills are desirable
Hands-on experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Asana, JIRA, or similar platforms
Valid certification in PMP, PRINCE2 (Practitioner), or equivalent Agile/Project Management certification
