Finance Business Partner
JetBrains is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join its FP&A team in a 2-year fixed-term maternity cover role. You will serve as a trusted financial advisor to business leaders, combining analytical expertise with strategic thinking to support decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to integrate financial perspectives into product and investment decisions
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes, validating assumptions and aligning resource allocation with business priorities
Analyze financial and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations
Prepare clear reports and presentations for senior management explaining financial performance and key drivers
Support business cases for new initiatives, estimating costs, returns, and financial impact
Collaborate with FP&A, Controlling, and Data teams to maintain consistency and transparency in reporting
Improve planning models and analytical processes to enhance forecasting quality
Build financial literacy across the organization by helping non-financial stakeholders understand financial implications
Requirements
Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, Financial Analyst, or FP&A role in multinational or fast-growing companies
Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and performance management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
High proficiency in Excel and experience with FP&A tools and BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, BOARD or similar)
Strong business acumen and confidence engaging with technical and product stakeholders
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly simplifying complex financial topics
Proactive mindset with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Fluent English
