Python Engineer

Revolut is looking for a Python Engineer to build and optimise backend infrastructure supporting AI and GPU-based workloads.

The role focuses on scalable backend services, machine-learning performance, GPU utilisation and production systems running on Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services supporting the AI lifecycle.

• Optimise model training and inference workloads using PyTorch and NVIDIA GPUs.

• Improve GPU utilisation, memory consumption and system performance.

• Implement techniques such as mixed precision, quantisation and efficient batching.

• Develop benchmarks, regression tests and performance-monitoring practices.

• Support engineering teams in selecting appropriate frameworks and GPU resources.

Key Requirements

• Strong Python backend engineering experience.

• Experience operating production systems using Linux, Kubernetes and containers.

• Knowledge of PyTorch or similar machine-learning frameworks.

• Experience profiling and optimising workloads on NVIDIA GPUs.

• Understanding of CUDA, GPU memory, data transfers and synchronisation.

• Familiarity with multi-GPU communication, NCCL and distributed workloads.

• A STEM degree or equivalent technical experience.

Compensation

• Poland: PLN 28,300–46,600 gross per month

• Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

Final compensation depends on the candidate’s experience, skills and qualifications.
