About the role
Tech Lead
This is a director-level technical leadership role focused on designing and building an AI-powered game production platform from the ground up. You will define the overall technology strategy, target architecture, and establish the foundational systems that enable the entire organization to operate efficiently at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Define technology strategy and target architecture for an AI-driven game production pipeline
Design end-to-end workflows incorporating human-in-the-loop checkpoints for AI-generated content
Select and integrate AI models, agentic frameworks, and development tools into production systems
Implement evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and observability for AI outputs
Build AI-powered automation for coding, testing, code review, and documentation workflows
Establish AI-driven processes for UI, 2D/3D asset generation, animations, and visual effects
Design shared game engine, SDKs, backend services, and reusable technology components
Build cloud and production infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems
Ensure scalability, high availability, security, and cost efficiency of AI infrastructure
Build and grow the engineering organization while remaining hands-on in development and technical experimentation
Requirements:
Prior experience as CTO, VP of Engineering, Head of Engineering, Principal Engineer, or Software Architect
Proven track record building technology products or platforms from inception
Strong expertise in system architecture with hands-on production engineering experience
Experience building and scaling engineering teams
Practical AI implementation experience in product development or digital content production
Deep knowledge of LLMs, multimodal models, AI agents, RAG, and agent orchestration
Expertise in prompt engineering, context management, and guardrails implementation
Cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code proficiency
Understanding of GPU infrastructure and self-hosted model trade-offs
