Data Scientist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our Data Science department. This is a hands-on position focused on designing, developing, and deploying advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that drive business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and review machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions

• Apply statistical analysis and data mining techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets

• Manage data preparation, feature engineering, model evaluation, and ensure code quality and documentation

• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders

• Present analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Ensure adherence to best practices in data quality, model monitoring, version control, and reproducible analytics

• Contribute to departmental data science strategy and identify opportunities for delivering business value

Requirements

• University degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related quantitative field

• At least 3 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics

• Strong programming skills in Python with experience in Pandas, NumPy, and similar libraries

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly

• Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques and solid understanding of statistics

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and collaborative team skills
