Join the Data Science team at XM to lead the design and delivery of high-impact machine learning solutions that drive measurable business value. This hybrid role combines strategic problem-solving with hands-on technical execution across large-scale datasets and modern ML architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of data science and machine learning products, from concept through production deployment

• Translate complex business challenges into analytical frameworks and scalable data solutions

• Build, optimize, and validate advanced ML models with rigorous quality and performance standards

• Oversee data preparation, feature engineering, model selection, and experimentation workflows

• Support deployment of models in both batch and real-time environments

• Communicate insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI standards

• Collaborate with Data Engineers, ML Engineers, Software Engineers, and Product Owners on production solutions

• Contribute to team processes, technical standards, and methodology improvements

Requirements

• University degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of professional data science experience

• Advanced Python proficiency (Pandas, NumPy, Polars) with production-quality code standards

• Deep expertise in modern ML techniques, Transformers, and Graph Neural Networks

• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly)

• Strong SQL and statistical analysis skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal

• Collaborative mindset with commitment to continuous learning

Advantageous: NLP experience, NoSQL databases, software engineering best practices, Unix/Linux proficiency, AWS cloud services knowledge.
