As a Senior Application DevOps Engineer, you will design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using modern practices and tools, while mentoring other engineers and driving technical excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to plan, deploy, and administer applications on AWS and Kubernetes

• Maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles with Terraform

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins

• Create automations to support development teams and improve operational efficiency

• Lead and oversee specific technical domains or projects, ensuring architectural consistency and scalability

• Mentor and guide other engineers, sharing best practices and fostering continuous improvement

• Manage cloud migration projects and provide guidance on re-platforming and re-factoring initiatives

• Investigate cloud deployments for compliance with company standards and best practices

• Provide 24/7 support to ensure business continuity with minimal downtime

• Communicate cloud migration progress to senior leadership

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or similar discipline

• Experience with Docker and containerization

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitLab and/or Jenkins)

• Strong AWS ecosystem knowledge and experience

• Kubernetes expertise

• Infrastructure as Code knowledge, preferably with Terraform

• Version control experience (Git)

• Linux and Windows administration, networking, and scripting skills

• Excellent organization, documentation, and time management abilities

• Understanding of solution design and deployment projects
