About the role
Wargaming is looking for a Data Analyst to join its Data & Marketing Technology team in Nicosia.
In this role, you will work across analytics, data research and applied AI automation to help teams understand performance, answer business questions and make better-informed decisions.
You will investigate information across multiple internal and external data sources, support experimentation and develop reliable analytical workflows. You will also collaborate with marketing, product and engineering teams to improve tracking, measurement and data quality.
The position reports to the Team Lead of Data & Marketing Technology.
What you’ll be doing
Analyse datasets to answer business questions and uncover meaningful patterns.
Translate analysis into clear, actionable insights for internal teams.
Investigate data across complex systems and multiple internal and external sources.
Understand data flows, dependencies, limitations and potential quality issues.
Support the measurement and evaluation of A/B tests, incrementality studies and creative experiments.
Work with marketing, product and engineering teams to define tracking requirements.
Help create measurement plans, analytical documentation and consistent metric definitions.
Build AI-powered workflows for insight generation, anomaly detection and data validation.
Support the maintenance of data pipelines and semantic layers.
Review transformation logic and help ensure analytical models are accurate and well documented.
Improve the reliability and scalability of recurring analytical processes.
Communicate findings, limitations and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
What we’re looking for
An educational background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or another relevant quantitative field.
Practical experience analysing data using SQL and Python.
Experience working with business intelligence or data-visualisation tools.
Familiarity with workflow automation and repeatable analytical processes.
An interest in developing practical machine-learning and applied AI skills.
Understanding of data-quality monitoring and validation.
Experience using large language models within analytics workflows.
Familiarity with prompt design, evaluation methods and safeguards for AI-generated outputs.
A proactive and responsible approach to work.
The ability to take ownership of tasks and communicate progress clearly.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Skills that would be an advantage
Experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake.
Familiarity with dbt, Airflow or similar data-transformation and orchestration tools.
Experience analysing product, marketing or user-behaviour data.
Knowledge of funnels, cohorts, retention, attribution and customer lifetime value.
Experience designing or evaluating experiments.
Familiarity with mobile analytics, attribution or measurement platforms.
Experience combining data from multiple systems and platforms.
Knowledge of regression and classification methods.
Experience with time-series forecasting.
Familiarity with uplift or propensity modelling.
Understanding of model evaluation and predictive-performance measurement.
Work arrangement
This is a hybrid position based in Nicosia, Cyprus. Employees are expected to work from the office approximately two to three days per week.
Relocation and immigration assistance may be provided to successful applicants who need support moving to Cyprus.
